Wooden Snowflake Stakes
Before you cut anything. Print with page scaling set to 100 percent or "actual size", never "fit to page". Then measure the ruler printed under each shape. If it does not measure what it says it measures, the printer scaled the page and every dimension on it is wrong.
Big flake, arm and barb spacing
Finished size 22" wide by 22" tall. This one prints at 25 percent, because the real thing is bigger than a sheet of paper. Two ways to use it: take it to a copy store and ask for 400 percent enlargement, or copy it square by square onto your stock, where every printed square is 4 in. on the real piece.
Angles and barb positions for the 20 in. flake. The dashed circle is where the center screw goes. Do not copy it too carefully, uneven arms are the point.
