Plywood Crypt
Before you cut anything. Print with page scaling set to 100 percent or "actual size", never "fit to page". Then measure the ruler printed under each shape. If it does not measure what it says it measures, the printer scaled the page and every dimension on it is wrong.
Crypt facade, 48 x 70 in.
Finished size 48" wide by 70" tall. This one prints at 13 percent, because the real thing is bigger than a sheet of paper. Two ways to use it: take it to a copy store and ask for 800 percent enlargement, or copy it square by square onto your stock, where every printed square is 8 in. on the real piece.
The doorway opening is 28 in. wide and 48 in. tall, and the arch over it is an exact half round: 14 in. radius, centred 34 in. up the middle of the sheet. You do not have to trace that part. Put a nail at the centre, hook a pencil on a string 14 in. from it, and swing the arch in one pass. Measure your prop against those two numbers before you cut, and widen the opening on the drawing if you need to: it is plywood, not a listed building. Keep at least 8 in. of leg either side whatever you do.
